We will be hosting three seperate book clubs this summer, starting in the month of July!
Book Club #1
- Leader: Denise Roberts
- Book: Invitation to a Journey: A Road Map for Spiritual Formation by M. Robert Mulholland.
- Theme: On spiritual formation as the journey towards being formed in the image of Christ for the sake of others.
- Day/Time: Tuesdays from 7:30-8:30 PM (July 16-August 20)
- Location: Hybrid (Zoom and in-person). Please contact Denise for in-person location.
Book Club #2
- Leaders: Kersaint and Audrey Saint-Juste
- Book: Now I Become Myself by Ken Shigematsu.
- Theme: On how the deep grace of Jesus heals our shame towards a restoration of our true selves.
- Day/Time: Thursdays from 7:00-8:30 PM (July 18-August 22)
- Location: Zoom
Book Club #3
- Leaders: Amy Eason and Gamoon Chin
- Book: Bearing God's Name: Why Sinai Still Matters by Carmen Imes.
- Theme: On what the Old Testament still has to say about how we are to conduct our lives as God's people who bear His name.
- Day/Time: Fridays from 9:30-10:30 AM (July 19-August 16)
