Week of Prayer // Jan. 5-9
We are dedicating this week to a greater focus on prayer, worship, intercession, and fasting.
Ultimately we long to abide with Jesus and lean on the Holy Spirit to ground us in him as we start 2026, make room to listen for his voice to lead us into a new season and intercede for each other and the world around us.
PRAYER ROOM - Monday to Thursday, 7:15AM & 12:15PM
We're hosting prayer onsite in our prayer room and online through zoom. These will be 30-45 min. environments hosted by one of our prayer guides. You can join as little or as long as you can.
(zoom link for online participation)
FRIDAY FAST - Church Wide
We are calling the whole church to fast with us. Taking a 24 hour period to fast from *food. Ideally this is from after Thursday dinner and can be broken on Friday dinner.
We fast to align our body with our heart's cry. When we fast we communicate that as we fight against appetite we also trust God to help overcome fear, temptation and distraction. In fasting, our hunger helps us feel align with the hunger long for God to break into our lives, church and city.
*please use caution or create your own fast if you have health concerns or conditions that prohibit this
FRIDAY - PRAYER AND WORSHIP @ 7PM
Let's prioritize this additional gathering to pray and worship as a whole community.
This is the best environment to practice prayer or learn how to pray; there's space to pray on your own or with others in an atmosphere of worship!
This night launches our monthly prayer for 2026!
7PM in our auditorium (WSG Youth joins us to start before heading into the youth room)

START PRAYING NOW, using Psalm 61:1-3 as your guide:
Hear my cry, O God;
listen to my prayer.
From the end of the earth I call to you,
when my heart is faint.
Lead me to the rock
that is higher than I,
for you are my refuge,
a strong tower against the enemy.
Let me abide in your tent forever,
find refuge under the shelter of your wings.
