Annual VISION & BUDGET MEETING on Wednesday, April 28

SUMMARY OF PRESENTATION HERE

If you call Westside home, serve and contribute regularly, you are welcome to join this short meeting that will recap our 2020 finances, highlight our 2021 finances, and then address a few ket areas of our vision for this year.

The nature of this year’s vision element will be slightly different due to the volatile and shorter-term nature of the current pandemic. However, there are a few areas we sense God calling us to lean into right now.

This meeting is also a good time to ask questions, dialogue, and share your own prayers for our church community and mission.

Due to the environment being on Zoom our Leadership Team would appreciate questions you might already have sent in ahead of time.

NOTE:

  • Nathan Whatley will be moving off our team as of this meeting as he has sensed a call to serve our provincial conference board for a season. Nathan has been instrumental in the Leadership Team in the area of spiritual discernment and governance. We are so grateful for his many years serving our church in this way. Send him a note of gratitude and prayer support for his next season.
  • We are discerning Steve Dustin’s addition to the LT. The process has involved early discernment, invitation to consider, an interview and further discernment. The last step before joining is open input from our church community. Send any input, questions or affirmation HERE.

*Steve and his family have been part of our church community for several years. They have been involved in a variety of ways including Viviane’s oversight of our finances for a few years. Steve had a renewal of faith in his 20s and has continued to follow Christ and serve within the church since.¬†We believe Steve’s gifts are well suited for seasons of additional structure and growth ahead of us.
