Carols & Cocoa: December 2

By November 20, 2022Uncategorized

Last year we tried something… a simple yet tasteful evening of Christmas Carols with a touch of specialty hot cocoa.

We loved it, our friends loved it – we had a great time.

So… we’re doing it again this year, and we’d love you to join us!

CAROLS & COCOA on Friday, December 2 @ 7PM

  • 820 Tecumseh, Pointe-Claire (corner Brunswick)
  • FREE (but **register here to help us prepare for you)
  • INVITE friends and family
  • BRING some winter clothes/gear for Ricochet Shelter
  • Bonus: Christmas Craft Sale in the lobby (proceeds go to Ricochet)

About an hour of carols led by guest musician, *Jonathan Manafo and some local friends.
Some performance, but mostly sing-a-long to great quality music.

A specialty hot cocoa stand – including coffee and other treats.

Fire Pits in the parking lot (weather permitting)

We’re collecting winter clothes/gear to help those with urgent lodging needs at Ricochet Shelter (West Island)

*Jonathan Manafo comes from Whitby, Ontario. Outside of his pastoral role at The Village church, you’ll often find him practicing bass, playing acoustic sets in local cafes, performing as a fill in with local Toronto area events. He loves being local with his music. His recorded albums vary from cottage songs, personal stories, and worship music. His most recent EP is a collection of songs processing the life and grief after losing his wife to cancer 2 years ago.

**last minute arrivals are welcome, but we ask you to register in advance to help us prepare for everyone in attendance (for the musical experience AND the cocoa!)
