“…to do good, to be rich in helping others, to be extravagantly generous. If they do that they’ll build a treasury that will last, gaining life that is truly life.” 1 Timothy 6:18 msg.
What does it mean to be rich? Is it about having lots of money, ordering anything you want from a menu, or not being worried about the price tag? Scripture’s teaching on money and contentment forces us to think a little differently about the idea of being rich, challenged to trust God for our needs and use our resources to help others. As the end of the year approaches, our desire is to strive and stretch ourselves to BE RICH in helping others.

SERVE: Friends For Dinner & WIM Delivery
Friends for Dinner is an initiative taken by local churches and Christian ministries. Leaving home to live and study in a foreign country can also bring disorientation, culture shock and loneliness around the holidays. The goal is to connect local families with international students in order to show them Canadian hospitality and build friendships. For more information, please visit their website.
WIM Delivery is seeking out families with cars and vans needed to deliver baskets on Saturday, December 9 from 10h-12h00. Volunteers are also needed on Friday, Dec 8 to help with transporting items to and from the venue as well as to assemble baskets.
To sign up for either day or for more information email WIM directly.
